Verdict

Elizabethan was less than a length behind Thinking Of You in what looked a strong maiden at Limerick and further progress will see her involved here. Keeper Of Time was by no means disgraced in a Listed contest at Leopardstown on Saturday while Let It Bea has had a break since her debut here in June and is expected to do better. Perfect Match showed the benefit of her opening run when chasing home the consistent Mooneista at Down Royal though back in third that day on her debut and staying on really nicely came THE BLUE GARTER, who missed the break but stayed on steadily when the race was all over so she gets the vote. The newcomers Alarm Call, who is related to several winners, and Russian River, who cost €210,000 and finished first in a Dundalk barrier trial, are worth a market check.
