NAKED COWBOY was heavily supported on his reappearance and handicap debut over 6f at Naas but found Allegra Talk had just too much pace. He went to Gowran with a favourite's chance a couple of weeks later but disaster struck for his followers when he slipped leaving the stalls and his young rider had to race with no irons. Compensation awaits here though Chaparro will prove a formidable opponent if running up to the level of his previous runs from this mark. No Trimmings has won only once in 17 starts on turf but almost doubled that tally when beaten a short-head by Hollymount King at Gowran. Connections won't be happy with a 4lb rise but she's run well off similar marks in the past. Cairdiuil had been running poorly over hurdles before reverting to the Flat with a very good run at Roscommon and would have a chance on that form while Xsquared showed massive improvement on his handicap debut at Dundalk and would be a threat if transferring that effort to turf.
