Verdict
GOVEN, a dual winner on heavy ground on the Flat in France, was left clear at the last when scoring here last month but would probably have won anyway. He has a small penalty to overcome and probably wouldn't want the ground to dry out but looks the one to beat. Ballykeel was placed between the flags and was having just his second start over timber when scoring over 2m4f at Leopardstown. He's not short of pace but could still find this on the short side. Gatsby Grey's victories in a bumper and a maiden hurdle have come on heavy ground while Bold Approach was beaten 21 length when runner-up to Kilcruit at Punchestown
