DOUGLAS DC was conceding 7lb when caught on the line at Navan earlier this month with Ceroc 15 lengths behind. He could be better suited by today's going and gets the nod to see off Celestial Horizon. Joseph O'Brien's charge, a dual winner on good ground on the Flat, couldn't handle Grade 3 company and soft ground at Fairyhouse but his previous run there puts him right in the picture. Evergreen And Red also won twice on the level and there was plenty to like about his hurdling debut at Navan when chasing home the odds-on Global Export. The French recruit Weddell Sea will be better for his debut for new connections though his best form has been on ground with give.
