After last year's winning exploits, Gopsies Daughter continues to disappoint and was two lengths behind Pillar when the latter scored at Fairyhouse. She also finished behind her stable companion Bahlwan at Down Royal and the latter has continued to perform well though has gone up 5lb for a narrow defeat at Cork. RAG TATTER finished runner-up in that Fairyhouse event which was over 6f. He was up with the pace throughout and dropping back to the minimum can see him double his winning tally. A Likely Story also finished close up in that latter event, though this looks on the short side, but Face Off has won over the course and distance and has been running quite well from her new mark.
