Verdict

APPLE'S JADE should win this for the third consecutive year before heading to Fairyhouse for the Hatton's Grace, which she has already won three times in succession. Although she wins from 2m-3m this is probably her optimum trip and she can regain the winning thread after last season's defeats at the major spring meetings. Bacardys didn't take to fences but his 3l defeat by Unowhatimeanharry in the Stayers Championship at Punchestown advertises his claims and the dual Grade 1 winner will ensure the selection doesn't have things her own way. Grand National runner-up Magic Of Light is no slouch over hurdles as she showed when landing a Grade 2 at Ascot in January but the remaining pair have too much to do.
