Energumene is bred to be a staying chaser and has joined Willie Mullins after an easy victory at Larkhill in January last year. FAKIR D'ALENE went for £160,000 at the sales after landing a point at Broughshane in May by 20l and can start repaying some of the outlay. His stable companion One Down is a brother to a couple of useful winners so is one to note as is another from the yard Getabay, another likely to be suited by fences in time. Jungle Junction was only beaten 1l in a huge field at Punchestown in April and looks certain to improve.
