Stoughan Cross has won around here from a higher mark and ran quite well over a trip too short here last time. Pegase Amour is consistent but has never won under Rules while Open To The World only just got up at Thurles for her first victory over fences and a 6lb rise looks harsh. Wake Up Early won a Galway handicap in September but was 9 lengths behind DUHALLOW PADDY on the same track the following month. He'll be 10lb better off so should get closer but the winner ran well over hurdles at Tramore on New Year's Day and can return to winning ways. Goulane Jessie won over hurdles last month and probably found 2m4f too short back over fences at Cork a fortnight ago.
