In depth

Verdict

Patrick Mullins is an interesting booking for Gladiatorial, who hasn't shown much in two Punchestown bumpers. The Dude Abides has shown glimpses of ability though was beaten a long way at Bellewstown last time while SUNDRENCHED took part in a very strong Fairyhouse bumper in December and wasn't disgraced. He looks the best of those with experience and is handed the vote over Gordon Elliott's newcomer Chemical Energy, who is bred to be a staying chaser though is a full brother to a 1m6f Flat winner. The four-year-old filly Eaton Lady is the first foal of a bumper winner and is one to note with her allowances.
