In depth

Verdict

Se Mo Laoch won this last year and is only 3lb higher so has to be respected along with the veteran Lean Araig, though the latter is still a maiden over fences. DUBAI DEVILS (NAP) may have been a bit unfortunate when brought down at Fairyhouse then just failed to give Flynsini 25lb over this track and trip. He made no mistake back at Fairyhouse next time and, though 10lb higher, looks set for a follow-up, though runner-up Getaday should get closer on these terms. Envoi Pierji stepped up to this trip for the first time over fences at Down Royal and stayed on strongly to lead close home so he's likely to get into contention while Young Dev has been running well over hurdles and was in good form over fences a year ago.
