In depth

Verdict

Max The Minister and Kaddys Girl are difficult to fancy on what they've shown so far and likewise One Cool Scorpion. The going may be too soft for the returning Royal Battalion but January's Doncaster winner Mccabe Creek should handle conditions and was third off this mark at Kempton last time. FLORRIE BOY was well supported in a similar contest at Chepstow eight days ago and didn't disappoint, pulling when clear up the straight having travelled strongly throughout – a penalty shouldn't be an obstacle to a second success.
