In depth

Verdict

Essaka showed plenty of early speed over 6f at Salisbury and should be suited by today's shorter distance. Kinematic led until the final furlong over the minimum trip at Sandown last month and could figure but SHACKLED N DRAWN is preferred. The latter separated a couple of subsequent winners when fifth at Newmarket on his debut and Olly Stevens' colt can land this with normal progress. Newcomers to keep an eye on include Judicial and Profitable though Strath Burn, a half-brother to six winners, makes more appeal.
