Verdict
Top Spec has solid nursery form but there are plenty of unexposed types in opposition and we prefer to side with recent Windsor winner Go Bananas, who gets the vote over Asia Winds. The last mentioned represents the stable of Barry Hills that has had plenty of success with its two-year-old runners of late and this daughter of Machiavellian should appreciate the step up from the minimum trip. The claims of Top Spec are obvious following his second at Newmarket last time and Richard Hannon's colt has to be respected. Stablemate Goblin and Cheverak Forest, from the Mick Channon stable, are others to consider but the vote goes to Go Bananas. Brian Meehan's colt showed improved form for the step up to a mile when making most to win at Windsor last time and should benefit from the extra furlong today. The booking of Kieren Fallon is an added bonus.
