In depth

Verdict

Young Lieutenant, Kilbrook and Steal A March have all shown ability in bumpers. The former beat a decent sort at Exeter back in January but the latter, who is owned by The Queen, may have the most scope. SIR VALENTINE, a useful performer on the Flat, would have been placed at worst on his debut over timber at Chepstow had he not fallen at the last. The third has franked that form since and the Twiston-Davies’ runner gets another chance. Katahdin is promising but likely to need this.
