In depth

Verdict

A wide open affair in which many can be given chances on there best form. Camp Nou has won his last two races in the style of an improver, he defeated Millcroft Seaspray last time but both his victorys have come on heavy and he may not be as effective on this faster ground rising in the weights. Slooghy has been running well without winning and was a fair second last time out behind Cowboyboots, a reproduction of that effort would see him go close but he does not always find as much is expected off the bridle. Old Rouvel is also worthy of consideration despite top weight he has ran as if in need of both his runs this season. He was sixth behind Sure Future last time and with his stable beginning to hit top form he could go well at a big price. The Granby looks well weighted on his best form and he ran as if his turn was near when fourth behind Lord Transcend in a grade two event at Haydock last time. He will not be far away with conditions in his favour. Proper Squire was third behind Glacial sunset last time out and he would have been a lot closer but for a mistake at the last, he to has definite place claims. Rosarian won well at Wincanton last time out but has risen in the weights for that win and this looks a much more competitive affair. Rosey Boy won well last time out when defeating Co Optimist however that was on heavy ground and he may not be as effective on this faster surface. Monger Lane was a staying on second behind Live The Dream over 21 furlongs if he stays this longer trip he could go well at a big price.
