      Verdict

      GIN PALACE (NAP) has been steadily coming to hand and has been dropped 2lb since his latest fourth at Sandown. That means he is just 2lb higher than when landing this 12 months ago and the quicker surface is in his favour. Itkaann may well have more to offer this season having been gelded over the winter and he rates a danger but Dyami will need to improve on his reappearance at Kempton to figure. Emraan and Naval Commander have been lightly raced but the latter may need this.
