Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Atraas, Make Haste and Cry Presto are the three that catch the eye here in another open affair, and Atras is expected to come on sufficiently from his debut to take this. Richard Hannon's Cry Presto is the most experienced runner in the field and having got within three lengths of Teslin at Newbury two outings ago arguably boasts the best form. However, he does seem to find one or two too good and hasnt progressed as might have been expected so is taken on. Roger Charlton saddles a very interesting debutant, Make Haste, a full brother to the very useful Subtle Power, who cost 240,000 guineas. He can be expected to go well with the trainer fully capable of readying one first time out and any market move should be heeded. Atraas ran well to be third on his debut here last month, and is closely related to Nashwan and other top class performers. Marcus Tregoning's runner has the advantage of experience over some of his rivals here and that can count. Atraas can get off the mark.
