Imperial Gain, China Cherub and Neardown Beauty are the shortlisted trio and Imperial Gain can score. A winner at Lingfieeld in June, Neardown Beauty has been the epitome of consistency since without winning. She stayed on strongly at Lingfield last time but couldnt quite get up. She looks sure to go well. China Cherub has won a couple of small races at Lingfield and Salisbury and showed that she is still well handicapped when going down by a narrow margin in a Pontefract handicap last time. She is lightly raced and is respected. Imperial Gain won at Lingfield in July but had disappointed until returning to form when a close up third at Sandown last time. Staying on well at the finish that day, Jamie Spencer's mount is expected to arrive late and fast and Imperial Gain can live up to her name for punters here.
