    Verdict

Pentatonic, Best Guess and Abhisheka catch the eye here and Pentatonic is taken to follow up a recent success. Best Guess was a narrow winner on heavy ground at Thirsk and had earlier won at Sandown on an easy surface. he is clearly going the right way and still seems to be on a handy mark and looks set to go well, although further rain would suit. A good winner at Nottingham, Godolphin's Abhisheka was a disappointment next time out at York but that was at a time when the stable were not firing. Off the track for almost four months, we may see a significant improvement here. Pentatonic won her maiden at Bath last time in good style, scoring decisively and showing some improvement on a good second at Goodwood the time before. The daughter of Giant's Causeway who cost over 200,000 guineas may be capable of much better than she has shown so far. Pentatonic looks leniently treated for her handicap bow and can score here.
