Verdict
CLAN DES OBEAUX was runner-up to Tornado Flyer on his reappearance in the King George at Kempton. He is rated 6lb superior to the Peter Marsh winner Royale Pagaille and can go one better than when beaten a neck by stable companion Secret Investor in this last year. Eldorado Allen is a proven performer at this level but has never won beyond an extended 2m1f so stamina is likely to be an issue. Imperial Aura looks out of sorts and De Rasher Counter has a mountain to climb at the weights and is returning from a lengthy absence.
