Verdict

KINGS FETE is penalised 2lb for last month’s Group 3 success at Goodwood. But Sir Michael Stoute’s charge stays this longer trip and is preferred to Battersea. The latter won a handicap at Meydan early this year but could only manage fourth behind Big Orange in a Group 2 at Newmarket on last month’s reappearance. The three-year-old Humphrey Bogart steps up in trip having finished behind Deauville in a Grade 1 over 1m2f at Belmont last time and could go well but both Ormito and Red Cardinal look up against it on these terms.
