In depth
Verdict
A tough novices chase here with many in form rivals in opposition including Noisetine, Fern Lord and Double Hounor and we will side with Fern Lord. The seven-year old was a good third behind Major Benefit last time. He is sure to have come on for the run and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat.. Noisetine rates the main danger, she was a good second behind Polar Red last time but her jumping fell to pieces when full pressure was applied so she can not be backed with any confidence. Double Honour is also worthy of respect he was third behind Mondial Jack last time doing all his best work at the finish and is sure to be suited by the step up in trip.First Flight is another that could go well he was third behind Mister Banjo last time and he is another that is sure to strip fitter here. Of the remainder Jamarosier was second behind Tourniquet last time but will need to improve again to take a hand in the finish so we are happy to side with Fern Lord
