In depth

Verdict

Gisburn, the only one of these with experience, is the choice of Pat Dobbs ahead of stablemate Flintstone but his fourth here has yet to be franked. Locke is a half-brother to three winners but the yard’s juveniles often improve for a run. Larkin’s stable has yet to hit form with its two-year-olds but the 95,000gns yearling Codify is worth a market check and Kingmax is by Kingman and cost £120,000. HARROW has plenty of pace in his pedigree and Andrew Balding’s grey might just be a bit sharper than some of these at this stage of the season.
