      Verdict

      A strong maiden despite the defection of the beautifully-bred Diavolo. Zagato was only beaten a short-head at Chelmsford in November and Mojo Star had gone even closer over a mile here earlier. General Lee was also second here on debut and filled the same position at Goodwood on his reappearance, only going down by a nose. MANOBO is by Sea The Stars out of a Group 2 winner in France. His half-brother finished second in the Celebration Mile in 2019 and he might also develop into a decent performer, though he has already been gelded.
