      Verdict

      Doncaster maiden winner Golden Bugle has to come into the reckoning but another maiden winner in MAYTAL is just preferred. The latter won at Haydock last month and a Group 2 entry suggests she can take another step forward now handicapping. Military Two Step romped home upped to 2m at Chester and carries a penalty today while Quenelle D'or looks vulnerable if adopting her usual front-running tactics. Horsefly has been winning lower grade handicaps and Secret Shadow also steps up in class after scoring at Windsor.
