In depth

Verdict

RENAISSANCE ROSE only faded in the closing stages at Ascot on her debut having raced up with the pace for most of the way. The Godolphin filly should be thereabouts at the finish as that looks stronger form than Rosemary And Thyme’s third-placed effort at Goodwood. Whiskey 'n' Chips is another likely improver while Good And Proper can include a Group 3 winner among her winning relatives and Roger Charlton introduces a couple of Frankel fillies in Beheld and Palafou.
