Verdict
The progressive DANYAH (NAP) made a winning start in handicaps with an impressive success at Doncaster on his return to action. He won on soft ground last year and can defy a hike in the weights. Mottrib will appreciate the return to softer going having weakened in the closing stages at Goodwood while Impressor was placed in last year’s Horris Hill at Newmarket and has his second start after wind surgery. Ascot winner River Nymph has yet to encounter slow ground and the same comment applies to Light And Dark, who has been gelded since last in action.
