Verdict
Bred to be effective over this trip and up to a mile CLAN PIPER can make a winning start his racing career over Our Dream Queen and Planet Red. All but one in this field of 14 are making there first forays into racing so we have to rely on pedigree and the pick certainly has that on his side. From a yard going well in the early part of this season he was expensive and holds Group aspirations which he is entitled to live up to in time. It could be this trip will be on the sharp side for Our Dream Queen who will come into her own when taking on a mile plus. However, there is some sprint breeding in her bloodline and this is about the right level for an introduction with weight in hand on the pick. Planet Red's relations hold little sway in comparison to the two we've mentioned but he should win races over this trip while Angel Of Fashion, Di Stefano, Lofthouse, and One Cool Buck are all tightly matched on their breeding. A tricky start for punters in a race that might be best watched but they should be watching a win for Clan Piper.
