Verdict

The inform STAR ROVER gets the verdict here and can see off advances from Lee's Anthem and Cicita Banana. The two-year-old has been the victor on his two outings to date and looks set to complete the hat-trick here. Lee's Anthem ran a terrific race on debut last time out. The colt held narrow advantage close home before crashing out and had clearly been spooked. There is no way of knowing whether he would have won, but he looks useful and a repeat performance, without the crash, should see him make the frame. George Baker's Chicita Banana was a winner at Bath last time and connections think she is ready for a step up in trip already. She sticks to the minimum here though and is coming up against some tough opposition but should be thereabouts at the post. Ytartfawn will need to improve on his last attempt if he is to figure here. The rest are newcomers and a market check is advised but for our selection we look no further than Star Rover.
