prominent, driven and every chance approaching final furlong, kept on same pace
mid-division, effort over 2f out, some late headway, never troubled leaders
held up, headway 2f out, one pace final furlong
prominent, ridden over 2f out, one pace until weakened inside final furlong

A maiden to end events here and while Fifth Amendment's last performance was impressive our selection goes to PADDY BEAR who should also get the better of Steel Stockholder. The selection has been off the track for seven months but we expect him to run well fresh here. The gelding will appreciate the faster ground and the good draw here. Fifth Amendment should be the selections toughest competitor. Second last time out back in October the gelding looked to be hitting some decent form. The three-year-old has been off the track since then but is expected to run well fresh and again the low draw here will prove crucial to his efforts and he should at least make the frame. Three-year-old colt Steel Stockholder makes his track debut today and can do well from the low draw, the going should also suit and a finish in the minors looks likely. Mintuno has the benefit of already racing this year. He was fourth then and will need to improve if his is to make the frame here today. Market check is advised for the rest but none look like a cause for concern to our selection Paddy Bear.
