    Verdict

NUMBER ONE LONDON stepped up to this trip at Goodwood and landed a Class 3 handicap in good style before finding Ascot's Queen Alexandra Stakes too much to handle. He's well up to this level and can get back to winning ways. Story Writer was behind at Goodwood and looks held while Manomine has never attempted anything like this trip in the past though arrives on a hat-trick after victories in minor handicaps. Ivanhoe has no problems with the trip and if the ground eases would come into the reckoning but See And Be Seen has done his winning on fast going and Polytrack including over this trip.
