Verdict
FOX VARDY by-passed the 2.30 here yesterday to run in this so we’ll give him a tentative vote as he failed to stay 1m6f last time. Tonyx was carrying a big weight when fourth on soft going at Haydock at the start of the month having run well previously at Chester so rates a danger. Cardano should have improved for his second at Sandown while Natty Night probably went off too quickly at Ascot after winning at Newmarket. Petite Jack has never won on Turf and has changed stables since last seen while All Yours may also be better on the all-weather. Union is consistent but struggling to get his head back in front.
