Verdict

Luggers Hall won back on the Flat at Doncaster last month but could only manage third behind Take Two when favourite at Warwick next time and there may not be much between the pair on today's terms. Exceedexpectations has been in terrific form on the all-weather but has never won on Turf and more interesting is lightly-raced Wolverhampton winner He's No Angel. CACTUS VALLEY did well in his first season and better is expected this year. He ran subsequent November Handicap winner Art Scholar to a length-and-a-half at Nottingham last October and can defy top weight in this, though Royal Dutch is also respected and Richard Hughes may be able to get a tune out of the versatile Sheila's Buddy.
