Verdict

King Of The Romans doesn't look one of his stable's star performers and was well beaten into third at Limerick when Hold The Line was just a short-head behind Diesel Ten. Pat Shanahan's colt will make a bold bid to go one better but PAY DAY KITTEN looks the one to be on. Dermot Weld's filly made a sparkling debut at the Curragh in October, giving supporters of the long odds-on Kingdom a real fright before eventually beaten just a neck. Kevin Prendergast has won this three times in the past six years so Until Midnight is one to keep an eye on as he showed promise on his opening run at the Curragh while Zadawan was very green on his introduction at Dundalk but stayed on nicely once getting the hang of the job and better is expected.
