Verdict
David Wachman has won this three times in the past five years so Hazy Days may be capable of better than he's shown to date. Illustrate, who cost 700,000gns, didn't make much of an impression behind stablemate Francis Of Assisi here in October and has no fancy entries nor does MONTFERRAT, though it's Jim Bolger's charge who gets the vote. He started a short-priced favourite on his debut at Cork but was beaten by his stablemate Sun On The Run. With that under his belt, he's taken to gain compensation. Fairy Foxglove started off well behind Super Sling at Dundalk but Lake District looks a bigger threat as he's tried in blinkers after a disappointing run at Gowran.
