In depth

Verdict

Simon Walker has won this twice in recent years and picks up the ride on the in-form CAPTAIN KENDALL. The latter has won three of his last four outings on the Polytrack and looks the one to beat in this. Annes Rocket won at Bath in September and is partnered by another leading amateur on his return to action while Going French won one of these events at Chester last season and is another to consider. Holy Angel scored here in January and has been thereabouts off higher marks since while Angelo Poliziano and M J Woodward are both multiple course winners and capable of going close.
