      Verdict

Macho Time travels down from Middleham bidding to extend an unbeaten record. He’s already won at Ayr and Redcar but steps up a furlong here. Dancinginthewoods had a subsequent winner behind when second over this trip at Doncaster while Cheat and Pitchcombe both came good at Kempton on their latest start. COSMIC POWER got up close home in a big field at Ascot two weeks ago. That was a step forward on seconds at Chepstow and Salisbury and Eve Johnson Houghton’s colt may be capable of further improvement now handicapping. Gypsy Whisper is also progressive and not out of this.
