Formwatch
Alshadiyah (USA) did not relish the step back to five furlongs in the Cornwallis Stakes here last season but still ran well. She's beautifully bred, the stable is in good form and it will take a decent one to beat her if she's on song. The former Italian-trained Rolly Polly, who won last year's Prix Robert Papin over five furlongs on soft ground is an interesting contender for Henry Cecil while the once-raced, expensive purchase Saudia will have her supporters but she has not been seen since last June. Fatwa won well on her debut but this is a lot tougher and Richard Hills has opted for Alshadiyah. The others look short of the required class to land this Group 3 event although Model Queen and Pelagia have scope to improve as three-year-olds..
