In depth
Formwatch
Mosaahim (IRE) has to be the selection for two very good reasons. Firstly, the currently all-conquering John Dunlop trains him and, also, he has very good form in the context of this race. He's untried on the surface but has good entries and must run well. Others to consider are Native Title and York Cliff, who are similar on last year's form through a horse called Canada; Shallat, an expensive purchase but quite likely to need this run, and Stands To Reason, who ran well here on his only run last season on soft but over an inadequate six furlong trip. Mosaahim would be a confident selection on faster ground but ought still to go very close.
