In depth

Verdict

The market should prove informative with just three having had a run. Sir Bolton has a win next to his name thanks to Yarmouth stewards who promoted him a place after he failed by a nose to land a debut success. He then only beat three home in the 23-runner Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot and this should give us a better indication of his level on debut for new connections. A host of newcomers from leading yards are noted, of which King Of Luck and Trafalgar Square are preferred, but experience may prove key in the form of MAXIMUM DIVIDEND. The American Pharoah colt only failed by the minimum margin to make a winning Sandown debut despite running green and when seemingly unfancied. He can one one better with that run under his belt.
