Verdict

Plenty of old favourites and never a good idea to rule out the likes of Euchen Glen and The Grand Visir, with the latter preferred on the back of a good run in the Queen Alexandra at Royal Ascot. He still looks on a high enough mark though and may again find a couple too good. Stablemate, Zinc White, comes here after being taken out at Beverley earlier this week and is of interest, but he was beaten by NOVEL LEGEND (NAP) earlier in the season and the Fanshawe gelding can confirm the form with Buick a top booking. He probably found his stamina stretched the last twice but now returns to the course and distance of a six-length romp in April. Sweet William only landed an ordinary novice last time but is unexposed and open to any amount of progression. He goes on the shortlist with Aztec Empire.
