Verdict

Five three-year-olds take on their elders which makes for an interesting sprint. Lezoo, a classy juvenile, ended last season by taking the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes, but has yet to sparkle this term. She didn't stay the trip in the 1000 Guineas though, but was never a factor in the Commonwealth Cup when reverting to sprinting. It will be disappointing if she doesn't perform notably better dropping into Group 3 company. However, she does face battle-hardened competition with the likes of the consistent Commanche Falls, a recent winner at the Curragh, and Garrus, a Longchamp runner-up latest, likely to prove hard to beat. ANNAF can also be added to that list as he was unlucky in-running last time at Sandown and previously ran a storming race when third in the King's Stand Stakes.
