Verdict
Free Nation has the form in the book but his second start was below what the market clearly expected and it will be interesting to see if he bounces back here. William Buick is booked and his level of form displayed on a promising Windsor debut puts him in with every chance. The raft of newcomers come almost exclusively from yards perfectly capable of readying one first time and the market should prove instructive, but AL SAIF represents a top yard whose juveniles look to have found form, and the son of Exceed And Excel gets the nod. L'ennemi and Blue Day also make some appeal, whilst Hinitsa Bay and Mr Wonderful could well progress sufficiently from their respective debuts to take a hand.
