In depth
Verdict
The market should be a good guide for this. Sam Twiston-Davies sticks with penalised Southwell winner Norman Fletcher even though the yard has three other runners. Alan King has a trio of entries and both Anthony Honeyball and Nicky Henderson are double-handed. Jockey bookings suggest Gentleman's Relish is the pick of the latter’s pair but Paul Nicholls’ filly SUMMER BRISE is related to a bumper and hurdles winner in Ireland so gets a tentative vote. Tour Ovalie and Jaxonne, a half-brother to a smart bumper in France, are also interesting.
