Verdict

With 18 declared runners, this looks something of a lottery. Great Snow, Phillapa Sue, Fortuna Ligna, Annie Magic and Ilovethenightlife all ran in the race won by Lime Avenue at Wincanton last month. The latter unseated her rider four out when still travelling and has since beaten MOVIDDY at Doncaster but there is nothing between the pair at today’s revised weights and Noel Williams’ mare had to make her own running that day - she still has time on her side. Northern raiders Aubis Walk and Ruby Island are much respected and Ludlow winner Energy One may still be on a decent mark but Royale Dance has been a beaten favourite twice since scoring at Hexham in the autumn.
