Bonchester Bridge is taken to get punters off to a winning start at the chief expense of Chilly Milly and Blackbriery Thyne. The last named left some ordinary bumper form behind when springing a surprise on his hurdling bow at Towcester. He has clearly progressed but is trying a five furlong longer trip here and is taking on better opposition, two factors which may find him out. Chilly Milly looked thoroughly exposed before scoring in a low grade handicap hurdle for conditionals at Plumpton last time. That was an improvement on previous efforts but this is a sterner test and she may not be up to it. Bonchester Bridge scored first time out at Huntingdon, ran a blinder in defeat at Cheltenham behind a well backed winner, before scoring in decisive fashion at Folkestone last time. Bonchester Bridge has an outstanding chance here and is a confident selection.
