In depth

Verdict

In a modest opener, Beauchamp Star is selected ahead of Hazelbury. Quite simply, with a rating in excess of 100, and recent efforts to match, Beauchamp Star has shown enough to be considered the one to beat today. Hazelbury caught the eye staying on late at Exeter last time and should have better to come. One Dream did not show much on her British debut last time for Robert Alner, and Topless fell on his after showing promise in one bumper run before that. The simple fact is that this race will not take a lot of winning and that the selection, Beauchamp Star has the best form on offer.
