Verdict
Gospel Truth is the pick over Abutilon and Zahra's Place, with Lilac Wine worth a mention as well. Carl Llewellyn has done really well in his first season, and he seems to have developed the knack of getting them fit to run well fresh, so hopes are high that Gospel Truth can step up a gear on his Exeter bow. Sent off favourite to make a winning debut, he never really got going until it was all over, but with that run under his belt, he can make a bold bid to get the losses back. Zahra's Place shaped well when third on faster ground at Huntingdon, finishing ahead of Abutilon who may well have not liked the going. Both should improve enough to take a hand here, while of the remainder, Lilac Wine has already had two runs so has that bit of experience to call on. Robert Stronge has booked Graham Lee for Benellino, so any market move for that one should be noted, but our preference is for Gospel Truth.
