        Verdict

        Avening, a half-brother to Certain Magic and Elba Magic, looks the stables second string behind Dash For Cover. The latter showed promise at Goodwood, but he may have to settle for another place here. Fovant, a full sister to the useful Sheppard's Watch, is one to keep an eye on in the market, but Sir Edwin Landseer is taken to make the most of his experience.
