        Verdict

        BEAR DANCING just failed to peg back Lockstown over C&D on his latest start with the rest well behind. That looks the best piece of form on offer here and a similar effort should see Lucinda Russell's charge open his account over fences. The inconsistent Shrewd Investor ran well at Wetherby in between failing to complete and is not out of this with a clear round, while Twelve Paces is back on a winning mark and showed glimpses of a return to form last time. Sycho Fred was below par last time but has place claims along with Dollar Mick.
